Independent Chassis-Based Auction Record Checking for Vehicle Buyers
Auction Sheet Verification provides a structured way for buyers of Japanese imported vehicles to request and review available pre-export auction inspection records using their vehicle chassis number.
Introduction to Auction Sheet Verification
Buying a Japanese imported vehicle often involves reviewing paperwork that has passed through multiple exporters, shipping agents, and local sellers. Auction Sheet Verification was created to give prospective buyers and vehicle owners a direct, easy-to-use channel to check whether a pre-export auction inspection record is available for a specific chassis number.
What Auction Sheet Verification Means
When vehicles are consigned to auto auctions in Japan, trained assessors document the car's specifications, odometer reading in kilometers, interior and exterior condition grades, and panel-by-panel body markings on an inspection sheet. Auction sheet verification means cross-referencing the alphanumeric frame number stamped on a vehicle against archived auction records so you can review those recorded observations directly.

Why Vehicle Buyers Review Auction Information
A clean exterior paint finish does not always tell the full story of an imported vehicle's past. Buyers check available auction records to evaluate four critical areas before completing a transaction:
Recorded Odometer Readings
Comparing the mileage logged at the Japanese auction house against the current odometer reading helps buyers identify potential discrepancies before purchasing.
Condition Grades and Repair History
Understanding whether a vehicle was graded 4.5, 4, 3.5, or R/RA helps buyers know where to focus a physical pre-purchase mechanical and structural inspection.
How Chassis-Number-Based Record Checking Works
Every Japanese domestic market vehicle carries a unique frame code stamped onto the metal firewall or chassis rail, such as ZVW30-0123456 or GD1-1204958. Unlike general model names, this chassis number uniquely identifies that specific vehicle build.
When you submit a verification request on our website, our system trims spaces, normalizes character formatting, and compares the code against our administrator-managed Auction Records database. Simultaneously, your inquiry is logged with a unique Request ID and sent to our administrator via WhatsApp notification.
How We Handle Available and Unavailable Records
- When a Matching Record Is Available: Our system links your request directly to the matching vehicle record (including brand, model, year, engine details, recorded mileage, rating, and stored auction sheet images) so our team can assist you promptly on WhatsApp.
- When a Matching Record Is Unavailable: If your chassis number is not currently present in our database, the request is logged as No Record Found and our administrator is notified immediately so we can check whether additional lookup support can be provided.
Commitment to Transparent Communication
We report only the data documented on available records and never fabricate inspection grades or claim unverified affiliations. We always recommend combining auction record checks with an independent physical inspection before purchasing any vehicle.
